Anodizing - what is it?

First of all, Aluminum anodizing is an electrochemical process that leads to the formation of an aluminum oxide layer on the surface of the metal. Then, the protective coating created in this way protects the aluminum from corrosion, mechanical damage, and the negative impact of external factors. In addition, anodizing aluminum also enhances the aesthetics of the product, which is important in many industrial and decorative applications.

What’s more, this process significantly affects the improvement of the surface properties of materials. Soft anodizing and aluminum coloring

In our offer, you will also find the service of soft anodizing, which involves creating protective coatings with a thickness of 5 to 25 µm on aluminum elements. We carry out anodizing in natural color, as well as coloring aluminum in colors such as black, red, blue, and gold. Additionally, we offer a unique INOX electrocoloring process, which allows obtaining the effect of stainless steel color on aluminum details.

Hard anodizing

We specialize in hard anodizing, which guarantees obtaining coatings on the surface of aluminum characterized by high resistance to abrasion and increased hardness. In addition, the thickness of the oxide layer obtained in the process of hard anodizing ranges from 25 to 120 µm and depends on the conditions of the process and the type of aluminum alloy used. Additionally, we offer the possibility of coloring hard-anodized elements in selected colors, which allows adapting the appearance of the product to the individual needs of the customer.

Chemical polishing of aluminum

Chemical polishing is a key preliminary processing stage that we use in the anodizing process to increase the shine of aluminum elements. In addition, the aim of this method is to obtain a perfectly smooth and shiny surface. Additionally, after the chemical polishing process, aluminum elements are ready for further anodizing and coloring in colors chosen by the customer.

Rotational processing

Rotational processing using a modern centrifugal smoother (roto finish) is an innovative method that effectively replaces traditional preliminary manual processing. In addition, thanks to this technology, elements are perfectly prepared for further processing. Additionally, the centrifugal smoother effectively deburrs, blunts, and rounds edges, degreases, removes stone and rust, and also grinds, smooths, and polishes the surface. What's more, depending on the type of abrasive used and the characteristics of the processed material, it is possible to obtain various surface finishes. Importantly, this method is several times faster than traditional processing methods, which guarantees high efficiency and efficiency of the entire process.

Glass bead blasting

Glass bead blasting is a modern surface treatment process for metals, which in many aspects resembles traditional sandblasting. However, the key difference is the use of glass beads as an abrasive material. In addition, the main goal of bead blasting is to precisely smooth and clean the surface of the processed element, as well as to give it an aesthetic appearance. Additionally, bead blasting is mainly used for aluminum details, which after this processing method are perfectly prepared for further anodizing.
